A Different Lavinia

I recently rediscovered a childhood story — the story of Lavinia, the character who inspired my mother to choose my name. Lavinia was a quiet little girl who dreamed that her purpose was to paint flowers. Through painting, she began to find herself and to express who she was.

This story made sense to me much later, when I felt the calling to create, to guide, and to bring clarity through art and presence.
